On Friday, September 25, 2026, we held our annual company party, which featured a Bavarian-themed evening. In the barn at the Roding City Hall, we were treated to a variety of dishes, such as ox cheeks and spinach dumplings.

All the honored employees received flowers, a certificate, and a gift.

It has almost become a tradition for WHR Hossinger to hold its “Christmas party” in the fall, combined with an Oktoberfest celebration. The cozy atmosphere, with tables lovingly set in the Goas-Stoi event hall at the Roding City Hall, provided the perfect setting to look back on the year and honor long-serving employees.

To top it off, the Stadthalle team treated the Hossinger staff to a buffet of Bavarian delicacies, complete with appetizers and dessert. The wheat beer mojito turned out to be the highlight of the aperitifs.

A Look Back at a Successful Year

Owner and Managing Director Armin Hossinger began the evening with a moment of silence in memory of their recently deceased colleague, Sabine Pfeilschifter, after which he extended an official welcome to the four new employees who joined the WHR team in 2026. He was pleased that a large portion of the staff had accepted the invitation to Oktoberfest. He noted that this was not something to be taken for granted and demonstrated the company’s spirit.

Hossinger then gave a brief review of the events of the past year. He highlighted the immense investments in new equipment and technologies and praised the team for their outstanding dedication. Following an exceptionally strong first half of the year, the company is currently just under ten percent above the previous year’s figures and expects a strong annual result. Despite international crises and economic headwinds, the company is growing.

The CEO congratulated the entire workforce in attendance on their achievements and their spirit of cooperation and mutual support. “Everyone’s tremendous determination and the dedicated team of employees throughout the company are the foundation of our success,” praised Armin Hossinger, adding that all the women and men could be proud of what they had accomplished. “With this great team, we will master every challenge and weather every storm,” he concluded.

Loyal Employees Honored

“Our success is based in no small part on the dedication of our long-standing, loyal employees,” Hossinger emphasized in his laudatory remarks honoring the recipients. “It is precisely those colleagues who have been with the company for many years who are the backbone of the team and the foundation of our growth.” Employees were honored for 10, 15, 20, 30, and 35 years of service. To give an idea of what it means to work for a company for so many years, Hossinger mentioned brief news headlines and facts for each year of service—such as the cost of an Oktoberfest beer or gasoline, who won the soccer championship, or which youth slang term was “in.”
