Toolmaking – Precision and Efficiency from a Single Source

whr Hossinger’s in-house toolmaking division forms the basis for the production of high-precision plastic parts. This is where highly complex injection molds are created for multi-component injection molding, which meet the high demands of modern production.

Thanks to many years of experience in toolmaking, projects are implemented efficiently and cost-effectively. Upon request, the molds can be seamlessly integrated into complex handling and automated assembly systems in the production process. Low mold wear, high product quality, and long mold service life enable unit costs to be significantly reduced.

Joint Venture - Asia and Europe

To meet growing international demands, whr Hossinger combines its in-house toolmaking capabilities with global partnerships. This hybrid solution enables the efficient execution of even complex projects with optimized lead times, the highest precision, and on-time production.

  • Tool design using CIMATRON
  • End-to-end CAD-CAM workflow
  • CNC-controlled machinery (3- & 5-axis milling, EDM, wire cutting)
  • Ultrasonic tool cleaning and maintenance
  • Over 1,500 tools developed and built over the past 40 years in plastic injection molding and toolmaking

Plastic-Compatible and Assembly-Friendly Designs

The design of the tools determines their functionality, durability, and manufacturing costs. Our experienced design and project team guides each tool through the entire process—from the initial concept through 3D and 2D design to prototyping.
