Family Celebration at the Open House

May 17 marked the first highlight of the anniversary year. On Saturday afternoon, all employees and their families were cordially invited to the family festival during the open house.

At the start of the event, Managing Director Armin Hossinger welcomed all the guests in attendance and provided a brief overview of the past 100 years. District Administrator Franz Löffler and Mayor Alexandra Riedl then took the floor and expressed their respect and appreciation for the company’s achievements. Both are proud that such a company is based in the region.

The event also served as an opportunity to dedicate the new building, which was completed in 2023. Religious education teacher Ruth Endes and Chaplain Bastian Neuman performed the dedication ceremony with God’s blessing.

Afterward, several guests were already waiting to take part in the guided tours of the building offered that day. Over 800 visitors took the opportunity to explore the grounds and relax in the festival tent with coffee and cake. A food truck also provided refreshments, serving wraps and burgers. “Lugge” Schmidbauer provided musical entertainment for the day.

Since Armin Hossinger always makes it a point to highlight the outstanding work of his colleagues, he took the opportunity to honor employees—alongside their loved ones—for their many years of service.

All proceeds from the event were donated to Campus Oberpfalz, a long-standing partner. A total of €5,000 was raised.
